Ho Chi Minh City welcomed nearly 2 million visitors

According to Ho Chi Minh city department of Culture, Sport and Tourism, the first 6 months of the year the city have welcomed nearly 2 million international visitors to Ho Chi Minh city reached 1,815,000 people, increasing 10% over the same period last year and reached 48% planned in 2012.

Total tourism revenue estimate made in the first 6 months was 34,000 billion, up 15% over the same period in 2011 and reached 50% of the plan in 2012. Business activities of the city tour continues to focus on stimulus programs to attract domestic tourists.
