Hochiminh – Cuchi – Vungtau – Mytho 5 days

Day 1: Home – Ho Chi Minh City

Meal: Dinner

Pick up at Tan Son Nhat airport and transfer to hotel for check in.

Have a half day city tour of dynamic Ho Chi Minh City, still called Sai Gon by many locals.

Visit War museum which primarily contains exhibits relating to the American phase of the Vietnam War, and is a major tourist attraction, Reunification Palace which was the workplace of the President of South Vietnam & was then known as Independence Palace.

Visit Notre Dame Cathedral, the spiritual and cultural crucible of the French presence in the Orient & the General Post Office, the ancient & with French colonial architecture style. Have dinner at an intimate restaurant.

 Day 2: Ho Chi Minh city – Cu Chi tunnels – Vung Tau

Meal: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

After breakfast at your hotel, we drive you to Cu Chi where you will experience the labyrinth of web-like tunnels of more than 200km in length. These tunnels were used to as shelters by guerrillas during the American war. They included hospitals, accommodation, kitchens and much more.

Return to Ho Chi Minh for a lunch at the Halal/Indian restaurant.

After lunch, we head off to Vung Tau City. Vung Tau is situated 125km southeast of Ho Chi Minh city.

It is a famous beach resort with long white sandy beaches and warm water the whole year round. A sumptuous dinner awaits you at local restaurant – Sea Food only.  Stay overnight at your hotel of choice in Vung Tau city.

Day 3: Vung Tau – Ho Chi Minh city

Meal: Breakfast / Lunch / Dinner

Breakfast at hotel. Visit to the Summer Palace of the Emperor Bao Dai, the Jesus Monument, which overlooks the peninsula and the Pacific Ocean.

Visit Thien Hau temple of Five Races and the Whale temple.

After lunch, transfer back to Ho Chi Minh city.

Upon arrival, stop at Ben Thanh market which is always loaded with varieties of goods, such as consumer goods, cakes and candies, food and foodstuff, and particularly high-quality fruit and vegetables.

Have dinner at local restaurant.

Day 4:  Ho Chi Minh city – My Tho – Ho Chi Minh city

Mekong delta tour – My Tho

Meal: Breakfast / Lunch / Dinner

Breakfast at hotel. Take a full day trip to the watery world of the Mekong Delta, just some hours by coach from Ho Chi Minh City. My Tho is a prosperous town of 175,000 inhabitants in the Mekong Delta. It is famous for its extensive orchards and immense rice fields. Take a cruise on Mekong river to visit islands. Here, you can have chance to visit coconut candy workshop & to taste fresh candy- specialty. Enjoy tropical fruits, honey tea & listen to Southern traditional music. Get on a small boat to discover a natural canal of Ben Tre province. Take a short walk in the coconut farm to visit a typical house in Mekong Delta. Back to big boat by rowing boat on small canal. Have lunch at garden restaurant. Visit Vinh Trang pagoda. Back to Ho Chi Minh city. In the evening, enjoy dinner at local restaurant.

Day 5 Ho Chi Minh city – Home

Meal: Breakfast

Free at leisure. Transfer to Tan Son Nhat airport for departure flight. End of services
